No New Posts Usagi Village

A quaint village where the paths are in the shape of a rabbit face. There is a shrine between the 'ears' of the rabbit, called the Nousagi Shrine. To the east there is an inn, and a path leading to Dekishi Well. To the east is the Contest Hall and the home of a man who makes Pokéballs.

No New Posts Dekishi Well

An area shaded by trees even during the day, with an overgrown path running through it. Halway through is a clearing with a well in the centre. It is said that long ago many Pokémon and people were drowned there, and yearly sacrifices of food and toys are made at the Nousagi Shrine so those who died there may rest in peace.

No New Posts Oushi Town

A town on the edges of the marsh, where all the buildings are on stilts. Despite recent renovations, the town still has a somewhat ramshackle feeling. The Gym and Contest Hall are located at the top of the town, with the Pokémart and Pokécentre near the entrance.

No New Posts Foruauto Marsh

There are wooden walkways lit with electric lamps running through the marsh, with the broadest being the 'main road' to Ado Bay. Foruauto Marsh borders on Ryusei Forest, but it is extremely dangerous to go off the paths to get there.

No New Posts Ado Bay

Seen as the 'gem' of the region, Ado Bay, which is truly a port city, has fully embraced the advances the League has brought, which is partially why it is here that many of the newcomers to Hoseki first arrive. The Gym is a magnificent blue and white building that is located near the beach and can be seen by the boats traveling in and out of the port. The Pokécentre and Pokemart are located in the city centre, one on either side of the Contest Hall. From the beach can be seen a cluster of islands.

No New Posts Oparu Ocean

The clear-watered ocean that surrounds Hoseki. There are daily ferry trips between Hoseki and the other regions and to Homotsu Island. Nowadays there is at least one luxury liner to be found floating in the waters near Ado Bay.

No New Posts Homotsu Island

The largest of several islands off the coast of Hoseki, and the only one that is inhabited by humans. There is a town in the middle of the island, with the Gym, Contest Hall, Pokecentre and Pokemart located to the north. There are several ruins to be found and the Gym and Contest Hall were built using the stone from these ruins, giving them an archaic feeling.

No New Posts Inumesu Village

Inumesu is a fishing village situated on the south-eastern peninsula of Hoseki. It makes a good trade selling fish to nearby Sutarion and water Pokemon to trainers. There is a small port where the ferry from Homotsu docks. The Gym & Contest Hall are side by side, on the road out to Kurayami Cave, and the Pokécentre and Pokémart are near the dock.

No New Posts Kurayami Cave

A dark, labyrinthine cave. There are many paths through this cave, and it is easy to get lost if you wander away, but the main route through is marked with small lamps that have been fastened to the floor.

No New Posts Sutarion City

The largest city in Hoseki, Sutarion is split into three equal sectors, Residential, Tourism and Business, each of which meet in the middle. At the centre of the city is a skyscraper that eclipses all others in the city, which serves as the Entertainment Sector. There is at least one Pokémon Centre and Pokémart in each Sector.

No New Posts Bekon Village

A strange little town where Tepigs, and some other Fire Types like Torchic, are quite popular. Bekon is know for its' quarterly festivals that revolve mainly around fried food. The Gym and Contest Hall are at the top of the village square and, during festivals, festooned with lights and used as impromptu community halls.

No New Posts Taikabu Town

The most superstitous place in Hoseki, Taikabu is where you will find the the storytellers who still speak of Hoseki's near-forgotten myths, and even of a legendary Pokemon that roamed the night skies. There is a shrine in the centre of the town, where an opal holds pride of place inside a glass cube.

No New Posts Ryusei Forest

An expansive forest that takes up a good amount of the region. Many parts of the forest are too dense to walk through, but with enough determination and a good machete (or a Pokemon that can cut), you can force your way through. According to the Taikabun storytellers, there are ruins of an ancient temple here, matching those on the islands. To the north of the forest is Seiza Crater.

No New Posts Kodomo City

The second largest city in Hoseki. Although in some way it is the most technologically advanced city, many parts of Kodomo are still run down and the slums form a large part of the city. Because of this, there is is a strong criminal underground active in the city. Kodomo is where the regional Power Plant is situated, and many electric Pokemon are drawn to the areas around the city because of that.

No New Posts Ryuko River

The Ryuko River flows down from Mt Hitsuji and through Kodomo, dividing the city into two sections. By the time it reaches the suburbs, it is thick with industrial waste and there have been numerous petitions to sort out the problem. However, just before it enters the city is a popular place to catch Pokemon.

No New Posts Zuzuo Desert

On the opposite side of Hitsuji to Kodomo. Despite legends of untouched temples deep in the centre of Zuzhuo, few will risk the constant sandstorms to go beyond the bare edges. There are a few archaeology camps set up around the edges, but not much else.

No New Posts Mt Hitsuji

Once an active volcano that threatened to destroy the entire region when it erupted, Hitsuji is now long extinct. It has recently become home to Victory Road and the League.
